It might not feel like it in Cape Town, but summer has arrived (at least in the rest of the country). And while Capetonians await those

If you are like me and prefer to at least sip marginally decent wine, keep an eye out for the big FNB Sauvignon Blanc Top 10 announcement this coming Friday. Meanwhile, as judged by Christian Eedes (chairperson), restaurant beverage manager James Pietersen, Sauvignon Blanc Interest Group secretary Pieter de Waal, wine maker Louis Nel and independent wine writer Angela Lloyd, the Top 20 wines have been revealed.

Will be interesting to see how these compare to Bartho’s list!
